Encore Labs had the privilege of being invited to join the panel discussion on the current state of the California cannabis testing landscape hosted by the Coachella Valley Cannabis Alliance Network (CVCAN). Our two panelists, Angie Macaraeg and Evelyn Alvarez, got to sit down with an esteemed group of cannabis professional across all facets of the cannabis industry. The following discussion was a deep dive into the inner workings of the cannabis testing process and how each contributor is affected by the testing process. We get to share our expertise in the lab space and explain why lab testing is so difficult and how the current news about “Category 4” pesticide testing will potentially affect the future of the industry in the coming years.
